Fresh Start

I have to admit, after watching Cal men’s tennis dismantle UNLV on Tuesday I was impressed. I wasn’t surprised by the result, seeing as the Bears have shutout three out of their last four opponents, but just impressed to see Cal firing on all cylinders.
However, I was surprised by senior Pierre Mouillon, and it wasn’t because of his court performance.
Mouillon came out yesterday sporting a new clean cut hairdo—an improvement from the shaggy look he has sported for most of his tenure with the Bears. Mouillon went from this to this.
“I was thinking about cutting my hair anyway because coach is always giving me (crap) about my hair,” Mouillon said. “I don’t know, maybe it’s a fresh start.”
With a 6-11 singles record so far this season I guess the senior will try anything to get back on track. At least for now Mouillon is undefeated in his new do.

I guess using those flowing locks to distract opponents didn’t really work. He should just completely shave his head and distract opponents with the blinding glare!

i hope pierre stays in the line up. he gave up 20 years of hair for a fresh start. this says a lot about his new-found commitment. GO PIERRE! no need to “distract” his opponents! short-haired pierre can boosh (push) anyone around. “I boosh you wiz mai smert zo-around game.”
